« Mute » est une œuvre originale sous la forme d’un livre leporello, sous coffret. Le leporello comporte vingt-neuf volets représentants la mue du serpent sur Old Mill premium white 100 gr/m2 des papeteries Fedrigoni. Il est placé dans une boîte revêtue plein-papier marqué à sec.
La conception de cet ouvrage a été menée, en étroite collaboration avec Giuseppe Penone et Yvon Lambert, par Stéphane Crémer qui a en outre veillé à sa bonne réalisation.
Les Artisans du Regard (Paris) ont réalisé la photogravure des photocopies originales et de leurs rehauts, conjointement avec Droit à l’image (Le Bono, Morbihan). L’impression HUV en trichromie et quadrichromie, vernis sérigraphique son réalisés par Stipa à Paris. La confection de la boîte est fait par Reliure d’Art du Centre à Limoges.

“Mute” is an original work in the form of a leporello book, in a box. The leporello has twenty-nine flaps representing the snake’s moult on Old Mill premium white 100gr/m2 from Fedrigoni paper mills. It is placed in a box coated full paper marked with dry.
The design of this work was carried out in close collaboration with Giuseppe Penone and Yvon Lambert by Stéphane Crémer, who also saw to its proper execution.
Les Artisans du Regard (Paris) carried out the photogravure of the original photocopies and their enhancements, together with Droit à l’image (Le Bono, Morbihan). The HUV printing in trichromy and quadrichromy, serigraphic varnish are produced by Stipa in Paris. The case is made by Reliure d’Art du Centre in Limoges.
