Jacob Bromberg est poète multimédia et traducteur, ainsi que rédacteur contribuant à The White Review. Ses œuvres ont été présentées et exposées, entre autres, à The Paris Review, The Believer, le Palais de Tokyo, Le Monde, Color Treasury, Gruppen et la Volcano Extravaganza du Fiorucci Art Trust. Sa collaboration avec Camille Henrot, Grosse Fatigue, a remporté le Lion d'argent à la Biennale de Venise 2013, et leurs autres collaborations ont également été exposées partout dans le monde : à la Biennale de Berlin, à la Serpentine Gallery, à la Collection Julia Stoschek et ailleurs.
Quentin Lefranc est l'artiste plasticien vit et travaille à Paris. Conçue comme un lieu d’étude, l’architecture sert de cadre, de territoire, de terrain de jeu aux propositions de Quentin Lefranc. Toujours, il établit un dialogue entre le site et ce qui y est développé. Placées à la confluence de plusieurs pratiques, ses pièces fonctionnent comme des parenthèses ouvertes dans l’espace. Par assemblage ou juxtaposition, il interroge ces éléments génériques qui les composent, joue avec leur champ d’application, leurs histoires, leurs assignations. En relançant les dés, il expérimente leurs perméabilités, les hiérarchies, les conditions d’existence des éléments mis en jeu. Si une dimension picturale domine, ses propositions favorisent un champ d’action plutôt qu’une pratique. Par glissement, il détourne les parcours habituels pour mieux rejouer les figures qui font autorité. À chaque fois c’est une mise en pièces du support qui est proposé pour interroger l’espace élargi de l’œuvre. L’ensemble établit un trouble aussi bien sur la perception que sur le statut.

Jacob Bromberg is a multimedia poet and translator, as well as contributing editor to The White Review. His work has been presented and exhibited at The Paris Review, The Believer, Palais de Tokyo, Le Monde, Color Treasury, Gruppen and the Volcano Extravaganza of the Fiorucci Art Trust, among others. His collaboration with Camille Henrot, Grosse Fatigue, won the Silver Lion at the 2013 Venice Biennale, and their other collaborations have also been exhibited around the world: at the Berlin Biennale, the Serpentine Gallery, the Julia Stoschek Collection and elsewhere.
Quentin Lefranc is visual artist living and working in Paris. Envisioned as a place of study, architecture serves as a framework, a territory, a playground, to Quentin Lefranc’s work. Always, he establishes a conversation between the site and what is materialized in it. Established at the junction of diverse disciplines, his pieces operate as interludes open in space. By assembly or juxtaposition, he questions the signature elements that compose them, plays with their ambit, their stories, their attributions. By rolling the dice, he explores their receptiveness, the hierarchies, the conditions of existence of the challenged elements. If a pictural dimension prevails, his work favors a scope for action rather than a practice. He distorts the usual itineraries to better reenact the authoritative figures. Each time, it is a mise-en-scène of the structure that is proposed to reflect on the enlarged space of the art work. The whole installs a confusion not only on our perception but on its status.
